In this task we had to create an original lip sync video in 'Final Cut'. In
my group there was Sarah Lester and Adam Strickland, we lip
synched 'Muse - Supermassive Black Hole'. After filming numerous
shots of us lip synching to the song we imported it into Final Cut where
we began the editing process. We synched the video and audio
together by showing the wave length of each video so we could match
up recognisable parts of the songs by checking the wave height/length
on the screen to see where it matched on both the video and audio,
although it was tricky at first it proved very effective as our lip movements
move in time with the actual singing of the song.
